International Border states - International Border states are states in the United States that share an international border with another country. There are a total of eighteen border states, thirteen that border Canada, one of which borders Russia as well, four that border Mexico, and one that borders the Bahamas and Cuba.

USSR Border Troops - The border guard in the USSR was known as Border Troops or Border Guard Troops, subordinated to the state security agency, NKVD, later renamed to MVD. Accordingly, they were known as NKVD Border Troops and MVD Border Troops.

Border showdown - The Border Showdown (formerly known as the Border War) includes all athletic events between the University of Kansas Jayhawks and the University of Missouri Tigers. The rivalry traces its roots to the 1850s, when skirmishes, widely known as "border wars", between the two states marked the beginning of the American Civil War.

Perhaps the most successful -- yet forgotten -- general of his time, Jacob Jennings Brown commanded the militia defending 200 miles of the New York-Canadian border. His defense of the Lake Ontario naval base at Sackets Harbor in 1813 was rewarded with a regular army commission as brigadier general. He won more battles against British regular troops than any general in American history. Brown helped create a professional army. As division commander, border reward and later as commanding general, he was instrumental in establishing the staff border reward and command structure that was operational until the 20th century. The user takes on the persona of Johnny Morrell, an out of work actor who has given up his dreams of stardom to acquire wealth through drug smuggling.
